Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects in data centers. This role involves managing mission-critical electrical infrastructure projects while ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimizing power distribution systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical project management and a strong background in data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical projects within data centers, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
- Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of electrical infrastructure and power distribution systems.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E standards and other relevant safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and construction, to deliver successful projects.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to maintain high standards of work.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and performance.
- Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in data center environments.
- Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure, power distribution systems, and mission-critical facilities.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E and other safety regulations related to electrical work.
- Proven ability to travel extensively to project sites as required.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with major tech companies such as Google or AWS is a plus.
