Electrical Shift Engineer\n\nCity of London\n\nShift - 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)\n\nUp to - £49,000 + Overtime + Training Package + Progression\n\nAbout the Role\n\nSkilled Careers are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Shift Engineer to join and work for one off our committed clients who are industry leaders. During this time you will be ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of all building services within a busy, high-profile environment.\n\nAs part of the shift engineering team, you’ll be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems, while supporting mechanical and HVAC services to maintain compliance, efficiency, and uptime across the site.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical building services systems (lighting, power, emergency systems, etc.)\n\nFault-finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical and control systems\n\nSupport critical plant operations including switchgear, generators, UPS, and BMS\n\nMaintain accurate service and maintenance records in line with statutory and company standards\n\nAssist with contractor supervision and site safety compliance\n\nWork closely with colleagues and the FM team to deliver a high-quality service\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\nRecognised Electrical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent)\n\n18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671)\n\nExperience within commercial or critical building environments (FM, data centre, healthcare, or similar)\n\nStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\nExcellent communication and team working abilities\n\nAdditional mechanical or HVAC experience is an advantage\n\nBenefits/Package\n\nCompetitive salary + shift allowance\n\nOvertime opportunities and training support\n\nExcellent career progression within a growing FM provider\n\nPension, holiday, and benefits package
