Electrical Shift Engineer\n\nLocation: Banking / Critical Environment\nContract: Fixed-Term Contract\nStart: Immediate\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to work within a high-profile banking environment on a fixed-term contract. This is a shift-based role focused on maintaining critical electrical systems and ensuring continuous, safe operation.\n\nThe Role\n\n * \n\n Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.\n\n * \n\n Monitor and maintain LV electrical infrastructure, switchgear, and distribution boards.\n\n * \n\n Respond to electrical faults, alarms, and emergency situations.\n\n * \n\n Support the operation of critical systems including UPS, generators, and power distribution.\n\n * \n\n Complete shift handovers, logbooks, and maintenance reports.\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and permit-to-work systems.\n\n * \n\n Escort and oversee specialist contractors when required.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a critical or commercial environment (banking, data centre, or similar).\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems.\n\n * \n\n Experience working with UPS and generators (desirable).\n\n * \n\n Recognised Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent).\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).\n\n * \n\n Ability to start immediately.\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n * \n\n Fixed-term contract.\n\n * \n\n Immediate start available.\n\n * \n\n Shift-based role in a high-profile banking environment.\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work on a technically challenging, critical site
