Electrician

Position: Electrical Engineer
Salary: £44,000 – £48,000 per year
Location: London and surrounding areas

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, installation, and fault-finding across a range of electrical and HVAC systems. The role involves working within commercial environments, including offices, data centres, laboratories, and retail premises.

The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and electro-mechanical experience, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality work with a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

* Service, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and associated HVAC equipment.

* Fault-finding and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems.

* Installation of new systems, including HVAC wiring, lighting, and control panels.

* Reading and interpreting electrical circuit diagrams.

* Producing clear and concise technical reports.

* Working safely and efficiently in a variety of commercial environments.

* Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally on-site.

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Electrical or Electro/Mechanical Engineer.

* Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

* Computer literate and capable of producing technical documentation.

* Full UK driving licence (essential).

* DBS check (required – can be arranged on start date).

* Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.

* Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
