Acoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers. We offer sound-attenuated and weather-protective packaging for on-site power equipment, with products ranging from economical skin-tight enclosures to entire multi-unit power plants.

Role Overview
We’re looking for an Electrician I to join our electrical department. This role is ideal for someone with foundational electrical experience who is ready to continue building their technical skills in a manufacturing environment. You’ll perform electrical installation and assembly work; support equipment builds and grow your troubleshooting and system knowledge alongside an experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical installation, assembly, and repair work in a manufacturing environment
- Install conduit, wire, electrical components, and other supporting hardware
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks
- Assist with panel wiring, equipment wiring, and point-to-point electrical connections
- Support troubleshooting and repair efforts under the guidance of more experienced electricians
- Help test completed work to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance with requirements
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Complete required paperwork and production documentation
- Support occasional travel to job sites when needed
- Follow all ASC safety procedures, including OSHA, Haz-Com, Lockout/Tagout, and confined space requirements
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of electrical experience in manufacturing, commercial, industrial, or related environments
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical components
- Ability to read and follow electrical drawings, diagrams, and work instructions
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and move throughout an 8+ hour shift
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces when needed
- Ability to work around low-voltage and high-voltage systems safely
