Electrician II

Acoustical Sheetmetal Company (ASC) provides on-site power integration for large-scale data centers. We offer sound-attenuated and weather-protective packaging for on-site power equipment, with products ranging from economical skin-tight enclosures to entire multi-unit power plants.
We work to reform and modernize the integration process in a multitude of ways. Our personnel include certified welders, licensed electricians, and machinists, as well as an engineering design team that works with production in an assembly line process immersed in the and culture of quality control. Role Overview
As an Electrician II at ASC, you'll play a key role in bringing our custom-engineered products to life. You'll work alongside talented fabricators, welders, mechanics, and engineers to install and troubleshoot electrical systems that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibility
- Installing electrical components, wiring, conduit, and control systems
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Troubleshooting electrical issues and identifying effective solutions
- Performing electrical testing and inspections
- Assisting with equipment startup and commissioning
- Supporting manufacturing operations by maintaining safe and reliable electrical systems
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Following all safety procedures and best practices
- Assisting with field installations and customer site support when needed

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training
- 0–10+ years of electrical experience (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply)
- Ability to read and understand basic electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces when required
- Ability to safely work around electrical equipment and machinery
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Bonus Points If You Have
- Commercial or industrial electrical experience
- Journeyman Electrician License
- Experience with generators, controls, or manufacturing equipment
- Experience working with both low-voltage and high-voltage systems
- Experience having working knowledge of bending conduit
- Forklift, lift equipment, or rigging experience
