About the Role

The Engineering & Maintenance provides hands-on support to the Engineering, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement (CI) teams, with a primary focus on supporting the CMMS rollout and stabilization. This role offers practical exposure to plant operations, reliability fundamentals, lean manufacturing, and small-scale engineering and CI projects. The will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy, standard work, and execution of improvement initiatives while developing real-world industrial engineering and maintenance skills.

What You’ll Do

CMMS Support & Data Integrity

  • Assist with CMMS rollout activities, including asset data verification, PM creation support, work order cleanup, and documentation standardization
  • Support work order audits to improve data quality, closeout accuracy, and failure coding consistency
  • Help develop and update CMMS user guides, quick-reference sheets, and standard work
  • Shadow maintenance and reliability teams to understand asset structures, PM strategies, and failure modes

Continuous Improvement Support

  • Assist CI team with small improvement projects (5S, visual management, waste reduction, basic time studies)
  • Support data collection and tracking for CI initiatives (KPIs, action items, audit results)
  • Help prepare CI materials such as presentations, dashboards, A3s, and project summaries
  • Participate in Gemba walks, Kaizen events, and RCA activities as assigned

Engineering & Project Support

  • Support engineering team with small capital or process improvement projects (layout updates, documentation, vendor coordination, basic analysis)
  • Assist with equipment documentation, drawings, SOP updates, and change tracking
  • Help track project action items, schedules, and closeout documentation

General Support & Learning

  • Work alongside maintenance technicians, engineers, and CI leaders to gain exposure to plant systems and operations
  • Follow all safety policies and participate in safety observations and discussions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

Learning Outcomes & Development

  • Practical experience with CMMS implementation and maintenance systems
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Understanding of plant engineering, maintenance reliability, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Development of professional communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong interest in manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, or continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a hands-on industrial environment
