Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, they are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to support the safe delivery of large-scale data center developments across London.

About the candidate:

The ideal candidate will have experience managing health, safety, and environmental activities within data center, mission critical, MEP, or major construction environments. You will be a proactive leader who can engage with site teams, subcontractors, and senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

You will have:

  • Previous experience as an HSE Manager, EHS Manager, SHEQ Manager, or Senior HSE Advisor within construction or mission critical environments.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, risk management processes, incident investigation, and contractor management.

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Membership of IOSH (GradIOSH or CMIOSH ).
  • Experience working on data center, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other high-risk construction projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence teams at all levels of an organisation.

About the role:

As the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for promoting a positive safety culture while ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements across multiple data center construction projects.

Working closely with project leadership teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, you will provide guidance and support to ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments while monitoring compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
  • Supporting incident investigations, delivering safety briefings, reviewing RAMS, and working with operational teams to identify and mitigate project risks before they impact safety performance.
