Estimating Manager – Roofing & Cladding (Facades Specialist)\n\nLocation: South Coast (Hybrid Working Available)\nSalary: £75,000 – £85,000 + Package + Profit Share Bonus\nCompany Turnover: £15m (Strong Growth Phase)\n\nWe are currently working with a leading and fast-growing specialist roofing and cladding contractor delivering high-quality façade packages across major UK infrastructure and commercial projects. Due to continued growth and a strong secured pipeline of work, including HS2-related schemes, they are now seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead and develop their pre-construction and bid function.\n\nThis is a key leadership role within the business, offering genuine long-term progression as the company continues to scale.\n\nKey Project Experience Includes:\n\n * Data Centres\n\n * HS2 Infrastructure Projects\n\n * Aviation Projects\n\n * Major works delivered for Tier 1 contractors including Laing O’Rourke and Skanska\n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\n * Lead and manage the full estimating function within roofing and cladding / façade packages\n\n * Oversee tenders, bids, and commercial submissions from initial enquiry through to contract award\n\n * Manage sales support and bid strategy across key frameworks and live opportunities\n\n * Review drawings, specifications, and project information to develop accurate cost plans and tenders\n\n * Liaise closely with operations, design, and commercial teams to ensure seamless bid handover\n\n * Lead contract handovers to delivery teams following successful bids\n\n * Develop and maintain strong relationships with main contractors and key clients\n\n * Support business growth through strategic input on pipeline and opportunity management\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\n * Strong background in roofing, cladding, or façade systems\n\n * Proven estimating and bid management experience within specialist subcontracting environments\n\n * Experience working with Tier 1 contractors (e.g. Laing O’Rourke, Skanska, etc.)\n\n * Strong commercial awareness and leadership capability\n\n * Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment\n\n * Confident communicator with both internal teams and external clients\n\nPackage & Benefits:\n\n * £75,000 – £85,000 basic salary\n\n * Profit share bonus scheme\n\n * Full package\n\n * Hybrid working model\n\n * Senior leadership role with clear progression opportunities\n\n * Secure pipeline of HS2 and major infrastructure work\n\n * Growing business with strong order book and long-term stability
