Location: Green Bay / De Pere, WI (Hybrid – variable onsite requirement)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week); onsite needs fluctuate by project phase
Contract Length: 6 months to start; potential to extend

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Facilities Construction Project Manager to urgently support multiple office relocation, build-out, and decommissioning initiatives in the Green Bay / De Pere area. This role is designed to bring structure, coordination, and on-the-ground leadership to facilities projects that currently feel disjointed between IT and Facilities teams.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on construction-focused PM who can coordinate vendors, internal stakeholders, and facilities systems while serving as the single point of accountability. This role requires strong on-site presence during key phases and someone comfortable being the "boots on the ground” for inspections, punch lists, and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multiple facilities construction and remodel projects, including:

  • Office relocations
  • New site build-outs
  • Decommissioning existing leased facilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for construction-related coordination across:

  • Facilities
  • IT / Network
  • Corporate Security
  • Service Desk
  • External vendors
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with internal teams to determine:
  • What equipment, furniture, and technology can be disposed of vs. moved
  • What needs to be purchased and installed for new locations
  • Coordinate and manage vendors including:
  • Construction firms (e.g., JCI)
  • AV vendors
  • Cabling and network vendors
  • Automation and building systems partners
  • Support punch list activities, site inspections, camera placements, and readiness checks
  • Oversee move management and sequencing to ensure minimal disruption
  • Maintain project plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies across facilities initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between facilities construction work and technology/network requirements
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders
  • Current / Near-Term Initiatives
  • De Pere office decommissioning activities
  • New De Pere-area office build-out
  • Potential relocation from an existing leased facility
  • Office remodels and facility technology deployments
  • Coordination of network drops, data center build elements, security systems, and AV.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong project management experience focused on facilities construction or remodels
  • Proven experience managing projects 50,000+ square feet
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate:
  • Mechanical and electrical work
  • Network drops and infrastructure requirements
  • Physical security and building systems
  • Furniture and office technology moves
  • Comfortable serving as the "hub” between IT, Facilities, and vendors
  • Ability to ask the right technical and coordination questions without being the design expert.

/ Nice to Have

  • PMP or FMP certification (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience working with corporate office environments and office technology builds
  • Familiarity working alongside construction firms and facilities systems teams
  • Experience supporting technology-enabled facilities projects (network, AV, security)
