Job Title: Data Centre Facilities Manager \n\nLocation: London, England, United Kingdom \nCommence Date: April 2026 \nWork Times: Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm) \nSalary: Details on application \n \nPurpose of Job \n \nWe now have an opportunity for an onsite Senior Facilities Coordinator at a client Data Centre. Working within the remote CBRE team, the role offers development potential for any candidate wanting to work on the leading edge of the growing Data Centre industry. The Sr Facilities Coordinator will report to the designated account management team member.
They will coordinate the FM requirements as required and will arrange and supervise Services Contractors as required.\n \nAs a Facility Manager for the London region, you will lead a team of Facility Coordinators, Vendors and Maintenance technicians responsible for delivering and overseeing soft services and maintaining data centres (excluding the Critical Environment server rooms and related MEP).\n \nYour tasks include: \n\nDisciplinary leadership and development of your subordinate employees (spread across the sites), including conducting regular performance reviews, as well as hiring and onboarding new employees;\n\nComprehensive management and administration of our repair and maintenance work within the assigned data centres, utilizing both internal and external technicians and service providers in the field of building maintenance;\n\nEnsuring smooth service operations/facility management at a selected number of assigned customer data centres; maintaining our existing customer relationships on whose behalf we manage the data centres (this also includes participation in regular client meetings);\n\nManagement of the annual budget as well as overseeing investment projects in close consultation with the client;\n\nConducting regular facility inspections and quality assurance in accordance with local, state, and federal/ regulations\n\nIdentification and initiation of operational modernizations and efficiency improvements in facility management at the sites\n\nCompliance with all environmental, health, and safety procedures for our facilities\n\nSelection and management of our external service providers, including monitoring their performance\n\nConducting process and procedure training in maintenance, repairs, and best safety practices\n\nRepresentation of our CBRE values (RISE Values)\n\nIdentifying and resolving everyday issues related to site-specific facility management\n \nYour Profile\n\nRelevant technical training or a bachelor's degree in business or technical fields\n\nRelevant professional experience in building maintenance / facility management is essential\n\nCertification in facility management is desirable but not mandatory if proven through experience\n\nExperience in selecting, onboarding, and leading your own employees both professionally and disciplinary.\n\nQuick grasp with the ability to communicate complex topics to clients and manage performance expectations\n\nComprehensive organizational skills with a strong curiosity\n\nDue to budget responsibility, a certain affinity for numbers is required\n\nVery good English skills, both written and spoken (additional EMEA languages may be an advantage but are not necessary for this role).\n \nOur Advantages\n\nFuture-proof workplace with a development guarantee at the world's largest provider of fully integrated data centre services\n\nInternational work environment with cross-border career opportunities\n\nTop-level training with internationally recognized, state-of-the-art certifications Attractive salary with annual raises + bonuses and other appealing benefits\n\nCreative work culture with a challenging work environment and a high degree of personal responsibility , JOB SECURITY, and WORK-LIFE BALANCE are lived values!\n \nWhy CBRE \n\nWhen you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
