Field Documentation Specialist

NCW is looking for experienced General Foreman/ Field Documentation Specialist to oversee subcontractors on a data center project.

Required Experience

Minimum 3 years of General Foreman level supervision experience within a General Contractor environment.

Demonstrated history of coordinating and interacting with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors.

Experience working in complex construction environments involving multiple trades and overlapping work areas.

Strong understanding of construction sequencing and installation requirements for MEP systems.

Ability to identify field conditions that affect productivity, sequencing, and work access.

Ability to communicate effectively with field supervisors and construction crews.

Ability to maintain clear written documentation of field observations.

Experience

Experience on large scale industrial, infrastructure, data center, or utility construction projects.

Experience supporting project management or documentation efforts on complex construction projects.

Experience using digital field documentation tools or mobile reporting platforms.

Familiarity with construction schedules and general sequencing of MEP installation work.

Work Environment

This position requires continuous presence on an active construction project site.

The role requires walking the project site daily, observing work activities, and interacting with field supervisors and construction crews.

Work conditions may include outdoor exposure depending on project location and weather conditions.

Deliverables and Performance Expectations

Maintain consistent daily documentation of field conditions affecting subcontractor work.

Provide accurate written descriptions of events affecting productivity, sequencing, or access.

Provide photographic documentation supporting field observations.

Deliver organized field logs and documentation to the assigned Project Manager.
