Fire Alarm Service Engineer – Data Centres\n\nLondon & South East | £40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime + Door-to-Door Travel + Company Vehicle + Bonus\n\nWe're working with a leading Fire & Security contractor that specialises in delivering and maintaining fire alarm systems within some of the UK's most critical data centre environments.\n\nDue to continued growth and a strong portfolio of long-term service contracts, they're looking to recruit an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join their growing team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on technically advanced sites and wants to be part of a business known for quality, professionalism and investing in its people.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair of fire alarm systems across a portfolio of mission-critical data centres throughout London and the South East.\n\nWorking as part of a highly skilled engineering team, you'll ensure systems remain fully operational, compliant and performing to the highest standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems\n\n * Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently\n\n * Complete small remedial works where required\n\n * Accurately complete service reports and documentation\n\n * Liaise with clients and site management professionally\n\n * Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with BS 5839 and company procedures\n\n * Participate in the on-call rota\n\nAbout You\n\nWe're looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer with a strong technical background and a proactive approach to customer service.\n\nEssential:\n\n * Experience servicing and fault-finding fire alarm systems\n\n * Strong knowledge of BS 5839\n\n * Experience working on addressable fire alarm systems\n\n * Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * Strong communication and customer-facing skills\n\nDesirable:\n\n * FIA qualifications\n\n * Experience working within data centres or other mission-critical environments\n\n * Knowledge of gas suppression systems, aspirating smoke detection or integrated life safety systems\n\n * ECS or CSCS card\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\n * £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary (depending on experience)\n\n * Door-to-door travel paid\n\n * Company vehicle\n\n * Overtime available\n\n * Performance bonus\n\n * Pension\n\n * Ongoing manufacturer training and professional development\n\n * Career progression into Senior Engineer, Commissioning or Project Management\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong reputation in the mission-critical sector, working on some of the UK's most prestigious data centre facilities.\n\nIf you're an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you
