We can assist with everything from regular pre-planned maintenance as part of your legionella risk control through to large pre-commission cleaning projects for data centres and hospitals.\nWe are proud of our reputation as specialists in water and air hygiene, legionella risk assessment, pre-com cleaning and flushing, commercial plumbing, ductwork cleaning and UV-C air purification.\n\nOur businesses all deliver expert safety and compliance services across the UK, supporting both public and private sector clients, solving complex compliance challenges for operators, developers, estates teams and within facilities management.\n\nAbout the Role\nThe Fire Damper Mate will assist Fire Damper Engineers with the inspection, testing, installation, maintenance, and reporting of fire dampers and associated access systems.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the fire safety and compliance industry.\n\nFull training will be provided for the right candidate.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist Fire Damper Engineers during inspections, testing, and installation works.\n\nHelp access fire dampers located within ceiling voids, risers, plant rooms, and roof spaces.\n\nInstall and remove ceiling tiles and access panels where required.\n\nAssist with the installation of fire dampers, access doors, and associated components.\n\nCarry tools, materials, and equipment safely around site.\n\nRecord asset information and take photographs using company mobile devices.\n\nMaintain clean and organised work areas.\n\nFollow all company Health & Safety procedures and site rules.\n\nAssist with loading and unloading vehicles.\n\nSupport engineers in completing works efficiently and professionally.\n\nCommunicate effectively with clients, site managers, and colleagues\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nCSCS Blue Card.\n\nGood attitude and willingness to learn.\n\nAbility to work at heights and within confined spaces.\n\nGood level of physical fitness.\n\nStrong work ethic and reliability.\n\nAbility to work as part of a team.\n\nGood communication skills.\n\nFull UK Driving Licence ( but not essential).\n\nRight to work in the UK.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\nWorking at Height Training.\n\nAsbestos Awareness.\n\nPrevious experience in construction, HVAC, fire safety, ductwork, or building maintenance.\n\nExperience & Qualifications\n\nUnderstanding of Fire Safety Order 2005 and Building Regulations.\n\nFamiliarity with TR19® Fire Damper Guidance and fire safety compliance requirements.\n\nAbility to read technical drawings.\n\nStrong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.\n\nGood communication and report-writing abilities.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nUp to £33000 basic salary\n\n25 days holiday\n\nAVIVA pension scheme & annual pay reviews\n\nCareer progression & training opportunities
