PVI is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our West Chester PA team. The desired candidate will possess the skills needed to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting and is proactive, organized and works well within a team environment. Must have QuickBooks experience. Must have Microsoft Office full suite of tools experience.
Job Summary:
PVI CM Inc provides services of planning, design, build and maintenance for the 7x24 mission critical industry. Together our employees help us tackle any electrical installation, controls project, building of technical spaces and Electrical Vehicle (EV) Charging Station installation. PVI CM Inc has offices in PA, GA and CO, with the corporate headquarters in West Chester, PA. We are seeking a skilled individual to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. This role involves accounts payable, accounts receivable, keeping financial records updated, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. You will utilize Quickbooks to handle full-cycle bookkeeping, and work closely with the team in a fast-paced construction industry environment.
Job Duties:
- Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, maintains records of financial transactions
- Maintain and reconcile QuickBooks files to the bank and expense statements
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
- Generate monthly financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, maintain the chart of accounts
- Support internal and external documentation processing of quotes, estimates, and invoices
- Manage the billing workflow. Coordinate with PVI Project Managers, and external partners to complete workflow. Utilize client and vendor dashboards to maintain current activity and monitor status.
- Liaise directly with vendors and clients to gather documents and resolve issues
- Work closely with PVI Project Managers and Leadership team
- Work closely with tax preparers to ensure clean and complete books
- Ability to raise issues as needed and provide recommendations for improvements for financial processes
- Communicate effectively with management team and external vendors.
