Global Data Centre Developer, Senior Real Estate Counsel, 12-month FTC

Job Description

My client, a global leading data centre developer is looking for an experienced real estate lawyer to join their EMEA legal team on a 12-month fixed term contract basis.

The role will include providing legal advice to the business on all site selection and acquisition activity for the development of hyperscale data centres across the EMEA region. The successful candidate will work with the development and technical teams on land related workstreams throughout the development life cycle.

The successful candidate will be an experienced lawyer (8+PQE) with experience in commercial real estate/property transactions. Familiarity with various forms of acquisition-related agreements and arrangements, such as Sale and Purchase, Leasehold and Development agreements and share purchase vehicles is key, as it exposure to end-to-end acquisition transactions. The team is small, and the pace is fast and accordingly, this person needs to be comfortable running deals autonomously with limited support.
