Global Trade & Customer Supply Chain Specialist - Data Center Connectivity - NC

Job Description

Join a global technology company supporting some of the world’s largest data center and cloud infrastructure customers.

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized professional to support international supply chain execution across import/export operations, contract manufacturing, and global logistics flows.

This role plays a key part in ensuring products move smoothly from global manufacturing partners to hyperscale customers, while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and on-time delivery performance.

In this role, you will:

• Manage customer purchase orders from intake through international shipment and delivery

• Coordinate with contract manufacturers, production sites, and logistics partners globally

• Support import/export documentation, shipment execution, and customs-related processes

• Apply Incoterms (EXW, FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.) to ensure correct ownership and shipping terms

• Track and manage inventory, shipment status, and delivery schedules in ERP systems

• Use D365 to monitor orders, logistics movement, and supply chain execution

• Communicate with customers regarding delivery timelines, changes, and shipment updates

• Identify and resolve shipping delays, customs issues, and priority changes across regions

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, order management, or customer operations

• Exposure to import/export processes, international shipping, or customs coordination

• Experience working with contract manufacturers or global manufacturing partners

• ERP experience (D365, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems)

• Strong Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and operational visibility

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage customer-facing interactions

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume global environment

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade compliance

• Data center, networking, or fiber optic industry experience

• Freight forwarding or global logistics experience

• Forecasting or supply chain planning exposure

• Experience working with engineering or manufacturing teams

• Japanese skills
