Salary: £140,000

We are working with a renowned Data Centre Developer & Operator who are looking for a Head of Commissioning to join their European Team.
This person will take ownership of the commissioning strategy and delivery across large-scale hyperscale developments, ensuring technical excellence, programme certainty, and risk mitigation from design through to handover.

Responsibilities of a client-side Head of Commissioning / Commissioning Lead:

Provide strategic leadership for the delivery and commissioning of complex projects and programmes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
Hold accountability for safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and regulatory compliance across the portfolio
Establish and maintain effective programme delivery environments, including people, processes, governance, and technology
Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing, diverse teams while fostering an inclusive and wellbeing-focused culture
Manage budgets and commercial performance, ensuring financially, ethically, and operationally sound outcomes
Build and maintain strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, influencing long-term strategy and performance 
The Head of Commissioning / Commissioning Lead will have the following:

Proven experience working as a Head of Commissioning or Commissioning Lead on a large-scale construction project
Strong client-side background (developer or operator)
Experience working within complex European markets
Be happy to travel across Europe frequently
