With multiple operational sites across the UK and international expansion underway, this is an opportunity to lead design governance and shape the technical standards behind a next datacentre platform.The roleOwn and develop datacentre design standards and reference architectureLead technical review and sign off of consultant and contractor designsOversee M&E design across critical power, cooling, resilience and heat recovery systemsSupport projects through design, construction, commissioning and handoverManage relationships with architects, MEP consultants and design build contractorsEnsure designs meet performance, resilience, sustainability and HPC requirementsWhat we're looking for7+ years' experience within datacentres, mission critical facilities, energy, utilities or major infrastructure projectsStrong Mechanical and Electrical engineering expertiseExperience acting as a technical authority overseeing third party design deliveryExperience delivering complex engineering projects through commissioningBackground as a Head of Design, Design Manager, Principal Engineer, Lead Engineer or similar leadership roleDegree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services EngineeringDesirableExperience with HPC, AI infrastructure or high density cooling environmentsKnowledge of heat reuse, district heating or thermal networksExperience developing design standards across multiple sites, regions or countriesThis opportunity offers significant influence, international exposure and the chance to build and scale a design function within one of the fastest growing areas of digital infrastructure.Datacentre | Data Centre | Mission Critical | Hyperscale | Critical Facilities | MEP | M&E | Building Services | Mechanical Engineering | Electrical Engineering | Technical Director | Engineering Director | Design Authority | Principal Engineer | Engineering Manager | HPC | AI Infrastructure | High Density Cooling | Critical Power | Commissioning | Design Management | Energy InfrastructureTPBN1_UKTJ
