Its reputation is built on commercial rigour, technical depth and trusted executive-level client relationships.\n\nWhat They Are Looking For\n\nOur client is seeking a Head of MEP & Data Centres to lead its European data centre division from a commercial and strategic perspective.

This is a senior leadership appointment, sitting within the upper tier of the business and reporting directly to executive leadership. The role will oversee a substantial team of Cost Managers and senior MEP specialists across multiple European locations.\n\nThe successful individual will be a commercially astute, confident senior leader — comfortable operating at board level while remaining technically credible in complex MEP-heavy environments. This role requires a strategic thinker who enjoys ownership, visibility and influence.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * Lead and develop a high-performing MEP & Data Centre cost management team across Europe\n\n * Provide strategic commercial oversight across multiple hyperscale data centre programmes (100MW–300MW)\n\n * Act as senior client interface for global developers and hyperscale operators\n\n * Drive technical excellence in MEP cost planning, benchmarking and procurement strategy\n\n * Establish and maintain best-practice commercial governance processes for mission-critical delivery\n\n * Oversee divisional financial performance, including P&L management and forecasting\n\n * Lead bid strategy and support business development initiatives across European markets\n\n * Manage risk, reporting and programme-level commercial strategy across multi-phase campus developments\n\n * Recruit, mentor and develop senior commercial talent\n\n * Shape and execute the long-term growth strategy for the European data centre division\n\nCriteria for the Role\n\n * Extensive experience delivering large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects\n\n * Strong MEP cost management background within consultancy or client-side environments\n\n * Demonstrable experience leading and developing sizeable commercial teams\n\n * Proven ability to manage senior client relationships across complex, multi-jurisdiction programmes\n\n * Highly developed commercial acumen and strategic leadership capability\n\n * Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline\n\n * MRICS or equivalent professional membership \n\n * Experience operating across multiple European jurisdictions advantageous\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n * £130,000 basic salary\n\n * Performance-related bonus\n\n * Car allowance\n\n * Management-level pension
