A leading civil engineering contractor is actively seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a new Data Centre project in London.\nThe mission critical sector is the fastest growing sector in construction right now and the need for data centre infrastructure continues to grow at a steady rate as does the need for more talent in the sector. With a steady pipeline of work for the coming years, it is an exciting time to be joining this contractor.\nThe ideal candidate ideally will have a proven track record of managing large scale data centre or life sciences projects on time and within budget, but candidates with a strong commercial or industrial background will also be considered.\nHealth & Safety Advisor Responsibilities:\n * Assist in developing and implementing EHS strategies and policies to:\n * Help ensure the safety of all employees, contractors and visitors\n * Ensure ongoing legal compliance\n * Keep up to date with current UK legislation and industry best practice and share this information with site staff\n * Take a key role in maintaining/improving our overall safety performance and that of our supply chain partners\n * Attend all pre-commencement meetings and agree which RAMS need your review\n * Review Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) as required\n * Sit with and mentor site management teams in site set up, preparing H&S documents or presentations such as RAMS, toolbox talks, etc.\n * Perform periodic site inspections and prepare relevant audit reports\n * Attend internal project meeting to discuss specific issues when activities on site require\n * Take the lead in accident investigations\nHealth & Safety Advisor Requirements:\n * NEBOSH Qualification essential\n * Excellent knowledge of H&S requirements in UK Construction Industry\n * Good knowledge of current technical building requirements\n * Ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of people\n * Excellent communication and negotiation skills\n * Proactive with strong problem-solving ability\nIf you would like to be considered for this role, please forward your CV to the email link provided
