HV Supervisor

Supervisor - Data Centre environment - £55,000 - £60,000

An established global facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Supervisor (HV) to support operations at a large, mission-critical data centre in South London.

This is a key leadership role, responsible for supervising day-to-day critical engineering operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and uptime.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate a team of critical engineers on site
Act as the Authorised Person / Senior Authorised Person for HV systems (where applicable)
Ensure safe operation and maintenance of HV/LV electrical infrastructure
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance activities
Manage permits to work, risk assessments, and method statements
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and site procedures
Support incident response and escalation processes in a 24/7 critical environment

Requirements:

Proven experience working within a data centre or critical environment
Strong HV electrical background (Authorised Person experience )
Supervisory or team leadership experience
Excellent knowledge of electrical safety rules and compliance standards
Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
