Job Description

Supervisor - Data Centre environment - £55,000 - £60,000\n\nAn established global facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Supervisor (HV) to support operations at a large, mission-critical data centre in South London.\n\nThis is a key leadership role, responsible for supervising day-to-day critical engineering operations while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and uptime.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nSupervise and coordinate a team of critical engineers on site\nAct as the Authorised Person / Senior Authorised Person for HV systems (where applicable)\nEnsure safe operation and maintenance of HV/LV electrical infrastructure\nOversee planned and reactive maintenance activities\nManage permits to work, risk assessments, and method statements\nLiaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders\nEnsure compliance with statutory regulations and site procedures\nSupport incident response and escalation processes in a 24/7 critical environment\n\nRequirements:\n\nProven experience working within a data centre or critical environment\nStrong HV electrical background (Authorised Person experience preferred)\nSupervisory or team leadership experience\nExcellent knowledge of electrical safety rules and compliance standards\nAbility to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations\nRelevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
