We are seeking experienced HVAC Engineers to join our growing team delivering specialist mechanical and electrical services within data centre environments. The role focuses on the installation, maintenance, commissioning, and fault-finding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and associated electrical controls.
This position offers opportunities to work on high-profile data centre projects across the UK, with occasional overseas travel (up to 30 days per year) to support projects in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and commission HVAC systems within data centre facilities.
* Work on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated electrical control systems.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
* Diagnose faults and implement effective technical solutions.
* Ensure all work complies with current industry regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements.
* Complete job reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Support commissioning and testing of new installations.
* Represent the company professionally on client sites.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
* NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline (HVAC / Mechanical / Electrical).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
* ECS card.
* Proven experience working on HVAC systems and electrical controls.
* Strong understanding of health & safety procedures.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
* Previous experience working in data centre environments.
* Experience with BMS/controls systems.
