HVAP Supervisor
Location: London
Salary: Up to £61,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of engineers, ensuring high standards of maintenance and compliance across all critical systems.

*

Carry out and oversee switching, isolations, and HV/LV operations in line with site procedures.

*

Manage PPM and reactive maintenance on systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, BMS, AHUs, and cooling systems.

*

Ensure all statutory testing and record keeping is completed accurately and on time.

*

Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues, ensuring downtime is minimised and client needs are met.

*

Support health & safety compliance, conduct permit-to-work and risk assessments, and oversee subcontractors when required.

*

Mentor and support junior engineers, ensuring team development and effective shift handovers.

Requirements:

*

HVAP qualified and experienced in switching/authorisation.

*

Strong critical site background (data centres, financial institutions, hospitals, or similar).

*

Previous supervisory or lead engineer experience.

*

Full electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition minimum).

*

DBS check required
