Data Centre Day Technician - HVAP

Role: Data Centre Day Technician - HVAP
Shift Pattern: Day Shifts, 12 hour basis.
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum, HVAP Allowance and bonus scheme!
Type: Permanent

Trevett Services are currently searching for a Data Centre Day Technician ideally with HVAP on a permanent basis, to work in a Data Centre environment, starting as soon as possible based in Hayes, with one of the UK's leading Global commercial real estate services & investment companies.

*For this role you will initially operate between 2 sites postcode areas E14 and E16*

Duties:

* Responsible for doing daily walk arounds to assess plant equipment status.

* Complete site inductions and accompanying PTW and other checks.

* Complete PPM, reactive maintenance, emergency and remedial maintenance.

* Fault finding and rectification of heating, ventilation and air conditioning issues.

* Take meter readings and ensure energy usage is optimal.

* Use job management systems to keep PPM Date up to date and job status aligns.

* Complete monthly generator testing at one of the sites.

* Carry out fire testing weekly

* Operation and trouble shooting of emergency lighting, BMS, AC System, VAV, Split Systems, AHU's, Generators, heating systems and HV Systems.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Centre environments OR Critical environments.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical Field.

* City & Guilds qualification Level 3 Electrical / or apprentice equivalent.

* 18th Edition IEE

* HV / Approved Person - Desirable (Training is offered to be HVAP).

* Testing & Inspection 2391 - Desirable

* Low Voltage Approved Person - Desirable

* IPAF & PASMA - Desirable

* Harness Inspection Trained - Desirable

* HVAC Experience - Desirable
