Data Centre Shift Technician

Role: Data Centre Shift Technician
Shift Pattern: Shifts 12 hour basis.
Salary: Up to £51,000 per annum
Type: Permanent

Trevett Services are currently searching for Data Centre Engineers on a permanent basis starting as soon as possible based in Farnborough with one of the UK's leading Global commercial real estate services & investment companies.

Duties:

* Assist with daily site inspections of Mechanical and Engineering systems and technical equipment.

* Complete PPM, servicing and reactive maintenance.

* React to BMS alarms and compete emergency repairs.

* Installation and modification of site electrical services.

* Operation and trouble shooting of emergency lighting, BMS, AC System, VAV, Split Systems, AHU's, Generators and other technical systems.

* Work with vendors to ensure compliance and regulations are being followed.

* Monitor work completed by subcontractors and flag any lack of performance.

* Check BMS alarm conditions and respond to HVAC related problems.

* Complete building walkthroughs and take meter readings from UPS and utilities.

* Fix plant faults and defects.

Requirements:

* Basic education with written and spoken English and basic Maths skills.

* Former experience in a Building Services Critical environment.

* City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical or Maintenance fields.

* HVAC Experience.

* HV Approved Person would be beneficial.

* BMS Knowledge.

* Be able to present information clearly back to peers and management.

* Experienced with working in a critical environment / data centre is ideal.
