About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and strategic IT Manager to join our team. In this full-time position, youll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient network and server environments that support and advance our business objectives. This is a highly impactful role where you will safeguard our digital infrastructure while enabling the firms growth through thoughtful, efficient technology solutions.
Youll lead the development and execution of our IT strategy, overseeing both on-premises and cloud-based environments to ensure performance, uptime, and business continuity. From managing system upgrades and IT asset inventory to maintaining disaster recovery plans, youll be at the helm of our technology operations. In this role, youll also monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V, as well as cloud services such as AWS and Azure.
Cybersecurity is a core focus of this position. Youll be responsible for creating and enforcing security policies, conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests and managing tools like firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM systems. Youll also ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, keeping documentation current for audits and certifications.
Vendor and stakeholder coordination is key to success in this role. Youll evaluate, onboard, and manage IT vendors and service providers while monitoring SLAs and negotiating contracts. Internally, youll work closely with our teams to align IT and business priorities, providing technical support and guidance where needed. Youll also mentor IT staff, helping to grow team expertise and strengthen our overall technology posture.
You will be responsible for budget oversight as well as responding to issues such as hardware/software troubleshooting, equipment repairs, outages, and security breaches.

What Youll Bring to Us:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 7+ years experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity roles.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and automation tools.
- Firsthand experience with compliance audits and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity tools and practices: firewalls, antivirus, SIEM, encryption, MFA, etc.
- Familiarity with and access management (IAM) and zero-trust architecture.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a strong emphasis on both oral and written interactions.
- Able to analyze issues and develop effective solutions to overcome challenges and achieve desired outcomes.
- Proven ability to motivate and inspire team members through effective communication, clear goal setting, and recognizing individual contributions, along with delegating tasks to align with team strengths and project requirements.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and organizational skills, consistently managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Employs excellent time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks promptly and accurately.
- Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying issues, analyzing data, and implementing practical solutions to complex problems.
- Competent in making independent decisions, utilizing sound judgment and critical thinking.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, proactively solve problems, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Skilled in presenting information and responding to inquiries from diverse audiences.
