Role Description The Inside Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pittsburgh Pa. This role is responsible for preparing and managing quotations, responding to customer inquiries, and supporting the external sales team with technical and commercial information. Daily activities include reviewing specifications and drawings, selecting appropriate products, and coordinating with manufacturers to ensure accurate pricing and delivery details. The Inside Sales Engineer will provide technical support to customers, assist in solution design for power quality, precision cooling, and electronic component applications, and maintain detailed records in CRM and other sales tools. The role also involves following up on opportunities, supporting order processing, and contributing to ongoing customer relationship management.

Qualifications

  • Strong Inside Sales and Sales skills, with experience managing customer inquiries and opportunities.
  • \n

  • Background in Sales Engineering and Quotations, including reviewing specifications and creating detailed proposals.
  • \n

  • Ability to provide Technical Support related to power quality, precision cooling, or electronic components.
  • \n

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
  • \n

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, MS Office (especially Excel), and standard business software tools.
  • \n

  • Relevant technical education (e.g., associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • \n

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • \n

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, data center infrastructure, or related industrial applications is highly beneficial.
