IT Director – Enterprise Technology & Software Engineering

Location: Las Vegas, NV | Utah | Hybrid/Remote (Travel Required)

Position Summary

BeeEnergy Inc. (BEI) is seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Director to lead the design, development, integration, and operation of enterprise technology solutions supporting our next- energy optimization platform.

This executive leadership role oversees software engineering, cloud infrastructure, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, systems integration, networking, telecommunications, renewable energy technologies, battery energy storage systems (BESS), artificial intelligence platforms, data center technologies, and cryptocurrency infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is a strategic technology leader with deep technical expertise and startup experience who can build scalable enterprise systems while supporting the commercialization of innovative energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership

• Develop and execute BEI's enterprise technology roadmap.
• Build and lead a high-performing IT and software engineering organization.
• Establish technology governance, standards, and enterprise architecture.
• Develop departmental budgets and staffing plans.
• Provide technical leadership to executive management and investors.
• Support product strategy and long-term technology planning.

Software Engineering

Lead development of:

• Enterprise software applications
• Web and mobile applications
• APIs and microservices
• Cloud- applications
• DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Embedded software and firmware integrations
• Automated testing and release management
• AI-assisted software development

Cloud & Infrastructure

Design and manage:

• Microsoft Azure
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Hybrid and Edge Computing environments
• Virtualization platforms
• management and disaster recovery solutions
• High availability and business continuity systems

Enterprise Systems Integration

Integrate and manage:

• CRM, ERP, HRIS, and financial systems
• Solar monitoring and energy management platforms
• SCADA, GIS, and IoT solutions
• Data analytics and AI platforms
• Third-party APIs and payment systems

Renewable Energy Technologies

Support software and infrastructure for:

• Residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Smart grid technologies
• Energy forecasting and optimization
• Grid monitoring and demand response

Data Centers & Cryptocurrency Infrastructure

Provide technical leadership for:

• AI and high-performance computing data centers
• Enterprise storage and server infrastructure
• Mining farm monitoring and analytics
• GPU and ASIC management
• Power and thermal optimization systems

Networking & Telecommunications

Oversee:

• LAN/WAN and SD-WAN environments
• VoIP and unified communications
• LTE, 5G, and satellite communications
• Enterprise networking and security infrastructure

Cybersecurity

Lead initiatives involving:

• Zero Trust Architecture
• SIEM and SOC integrations
• Vulnerability management
• Incident response
• Compliance programs
• Security awareness training

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Computer Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Electrical Engineering

Master's degree .

Experience

• 10+ years of IT leadership experience
• 8+ years leading software engineering teams
• Enterprise cloud architecture expertise
• Cybersecurity and systems integration experience

Compensation Recommendation

For the Las Vegas and Utah markets, a competitive compensation package for this role would generally be:

• Base Salary: $180,000 – $250,000+
• Annual Bonus: 20%–40%
• Equity Participation: 0.5%–2.0% depending on experience and stage of company growth
