Position Overview

The IT Infrastructure Director will lead the strategy, design, delivery, and optimization of a global network and connectivity environment supporting research, manufacturing, and corporate operations.

The role oversees worldwide network infrastructure, cloud and data center connectivity, network security, and collaboration services. The position is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, highly available, and compliant infrastructure while driving modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategy and architecture for global network and connectivity services.
- Oversee WAN, LAN, cloud connectivity, and data center networking environments.
- Manage network security and connectivity services across global locations.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and security of network infrastructure.
- Develop and execute infrastructure modernization and transformation initiatives.
- Establish technology strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational requirements.
- Manage external technology vendors, service providers, contracts, and budgets.
- Ensure network infrastructure meets applicable security, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with cybersecurity, research and development, operations, and other technology teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
- Support connectivity requirements across research, manufacturing, and corporate environments.
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure performance, resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Lead initiatives that strengthen global connectivity and support business-critical operations.
- Provide strategic leadership and technical direction across global network and connectivity services.
