IT Support Technician - Level Tier 1

Integrated Systems is looking for highly motivated individuals that are eager to learn and apply proven company processes for building and supporting our client’s IT needs. Willing to train and mentor.

Partial Description of Work Activities / Duties:

• Troubleshoot all kinds of desktop, server, peripheral and network issues – onsite and through remote help.
• Install and upgrade the systems with virus protection software, spyware, firewall protection software, etc.
• Collect regular statistics, documentation and demographics of the operations performed by end-users of every system and make sure that there is no exploitation of IT resources
• Train the customers about the efficient usage of the resources available and protect the server from excessive load
• Collect the specifications required on each customer network of each system and maintain a record of the same which can help to easily troubleshoot
• Troubleshoot network physical plant problems
• Supporting role in data center management and Network Systems Monitoring Functions
• Maintain Network Documentation
• Assist in Customer Triage Support

Technical Skills Required by Network Technicians:

• Exposure to Microsoft Operating System Environment
• Knowledge of basic and advanced client side and server-side operating systems (Microsoft) helpful
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Network Addressing helpful
• Exposure to NAS and SAN storage systems helpful
• Competent with the software applications and virus protection systems

Key Skills and education Requirements:

• 2 year associates a plus, but will train depending on various systems’ exposure and familiarity
• Sound logical approach to problem solving.  
• Good verbal and written communication skills along with sound understanding of technical jargons
• Motivated and should have team spirit and strive to meet the set targets within time
