What You’ll Do

  • Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Review and approve purchase orders based on the organization's needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate bids. Analyze market trends to recommend product substitutions and ensure competitive pricing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining appropriate stock levels to meet operational needs. This includes tracking orders and coordinating with suppliers to confirm timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. Ensure that all procurement activities are documented and compliant with company standards.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as accounts payable and quality control, to ensure smooth procurement processes and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries.
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation and analysis of purchasing patterns, ensuring that procurement costs are minimized without compromising quality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related business field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in purchasing, production control, and warehousing in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
  • Must understand the financial implication of Materials Management
  • Must be proficient in MRP systems
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
