Job Title: Lab Technician

Location: Plano, TX (onsite)
Job Duration: 6.5+m Contract

Primary Skills: 

• Experience in data center or lab environment (minimum 2 years acceptable)
• Strong attention to detail
• Hands-on technical experience with computer hardware

Knowledge of:

• VPN, VLAN
• Basic command line operations
• VMware experience is a plus (not mandatory)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50–60 pounds
• Role requires standing and active movement (no prolonged sitting)

Responsibilities:

• Rack mounting, stacking, and configuration
• Physical cabling (connecting cables, cable management)
• Working with infrastructure components such as firewalls, machines, and Cisco switches
• Handling and maintaining data center equipment
• Documentation and maintaining accurate records
• Ticketing system usage for issue tracking.

Qualification:

Some college education .
