Our client is a specialist consultancy delivering advanced engineering, sustainability and certification solutions for cloud-computing, AI-ready, high-density and high-efficiency data centres across Europe and the Middle East. Known for their technical rigour and close partnerships with hyperscale and colocation operators, they continue to expand rapidly within the region and are now seeking a LEED-AP Certification & Submission Specialist to strengthen their sustainability team in Dubai.

 

This role blends hands-on LEED submission ownership with exposure to some of the region’s most innovative data-centre developments, with two remote working days per week and 10–20% regional travel. About the Role

The LEED-AP Certification & Submission Specialist will take full responsibility for preparing, managing and submitting complete LEED documentation packages, ensuring successful certification outcomes (Gold and Platinum) for large-scale data-centre projects. You will lead the full GBCI review process, coordinate technical inputs from engineering teams and ensure all documentation meets the highest levels of accuracy and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit complete LEED certification packages (BD+C: Data Centres or O+M).
  • Lead communication with GBCI throughout review cycles, CIRs and appeals.
  • Manage and quality-check all supporting documents including energy models, commissioning reports and calculations.
  • Maintain LEED scorecards, tracking tools and submission schedules.
  • Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, sustainability teams and project managers to ensure aligned certification strategies.
  • Respond to reviewer comments and coordinate revisions to ensure credit compliance.
  • Provide internal training and guidance on LEED processes and best practices.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Current LEED AP BD+C (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of sustainability consulting with at least 2 years focused on full LEED submissions.
  • Lead preparer on at least three (3) full LEED submissions from registration to award.
  • Strong experience with LEED Online and data-centre-specific credit interpretation.
  • Proven delivery of LEED Gold/Platinum certifications.
  • Excellent documentation, coordination and communication skills.
  • Experience with eQUEST or IES VE energy modelling tools beneficial.
  • Additional credentials (WELL AP, CEM) advantageous.
