Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations to establish clients’ needs and develop effective treatment strategies.
- Document all client interactions and progress accurately from initial consultation through the duration of the treatment process, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Create tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting strategies based on the unique mental, behavioral, and emotional health requirements of each client.
- Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both individualized and group-based, providing a safe environment for clients to express their feelings and work through challenges.
- Monitor and assess client progress against established treatment objectives, making adjustments to interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, medical professionals, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, especially those requiring hospitalization.
- Identify obstacles to recovery, providing proactive strategies to mitigate these challenges and promote client engagement.
- Educate and support family members and primary caregivers in managing associated behavioral health challenges, fostering a holistic approach to client care.

Qualifications\n

- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
- Successful completion of the Counseling Exam (NCE) or the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
- Minimum of two years of professional experience as a mental health counselor, providing therapy in various settings.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to document patient interactions and manage care effectively.
- Familiarity with the best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with superb interpersonal abilities to foster trust and rapport with clients.
- Deep understanding of the psychological and physical impact of addiction disorders and related health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
