Key Responsibilities\n

- Conducting thorough initial assessments through interviews and therapy sessions, carefully documenting findings from the first consultation to the end of the therapeutic process.
- Evaluating mental, behavioral, and emotional health to identify issues and needs of clients effectively.
- Creating personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored for individuals, couples, families, and groups, encompassing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
- Facilitating engaging individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting healing and development.
- Regularly monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed based on collected data and feedback.
- Collaborating with other mental health specialists, doctors, and caregivers to develop integrated intervention strategies that effectively address client challenges.
- Ensuring follow-up care by liaising with psychiatrists and other attending physicians for clients who may require hospitalization.
- Identifying potential setbacks in recovery and implementing strategies to address and prevent them.
- Providing guidance and resources to family members and caregivers to effectively manage clients' mental and behavioral challenges.

You will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction issues. An understanding of both psychological and physical health phenomena, as well as cultural sensitivities, is crucial to providing effective care in our community.
Qualifications\n

- A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.
- Current, valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
- Successful completion of the Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
- Previous experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating the application of effective therapeutic techniques.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, to maintain accurate and timely client documentation.
- Experience working with underlying health conditions and addiction disorders is highly .
- Familiarity with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

Compensation and Benefits\n
