Job Summary

As a Low Voltage Field Technician, you'll be at the forefront of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems, including security cameras, access control, structured cabling, AV equipment, and network infrastructure. This hands-on role involves about 30% travel to client sites across [Southeast US], with varying work schedules that may include evenings, and overtime to meet critical deadlines. Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and repair low-voltage electrical systems, ensuring seamless functionality for clients in commercial settings.

- Perform on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly and efficiently, minimizing downtime.

- Collaborate with teams and clients to deliver projects on time, adapting to changing priorities and schedules.

- Travel to various job sites, handling logistics and maintaining a professional presence.

- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing "mission first" to exceed customer expectations.

- Document work performed, maintain accurate records, and provide clear communication on project status.

Qualifications and Skills

- **Technical Expertise: ** Solid knowledge of low-voltage systems, including wiring, networking, and related technologies. Certifications like BICSI, CTS, or equivalent are a plus.

- **Hands-On Proficiency: ** Handy with tools and equipment; comfortable working in diverse environments, from data centers to attics to rooftops.

- **Customer Service Excellence: ** Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients, explain technical details in simple terms, and ensure satisfaction.

- **Time Management Mastery: ** Proven ability to juggle varying schedules, overtime, and travel while staying organized and efficient.

- **Mindset and Energy: ** A true hard worker with an energetic, can-do attitude and a "mission first" approach—someone who thrives on high-stakes projects and goes the extra mile without hesitation.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation required; ability to lift 70 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions. I.E., outdoor conditions, new construction without climate control, walk-in freezers, etc.

- High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of relevant experience . 

Pay rate will be based on "on-the-job" experience and industry certifications.
