Applicant must have a Four Year Technical Degree - Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering. Three years of experience with an /background in medium/heavy manufacturing. Process development, machine characterization, labor standards and quality cost functions all fall under this purview. Cost reduction and continuous improvement are primary elements intrinsic to this position. Production support is the primary responsibility. A specific understanding of cable manufacturing, constructions, industrial specification and implementation of such standards. Must have strong analytical abilities, is sensitive to safety in a manufacturing environment. Must be capable of handling own written correspondence and prepare reports for distribution.
