Estimator - M&E (Electrical & Mechanical)\n Location: London Office\n Level: Intermediate\n\nOverview\n\nWe are seeking two Estimators to join our London office:\n * 1 x Electrical Estimator\n * 1 x Mechanical Estimator\n\nIdeally, both candidates will have the capability to price across both disciplines, with any CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) experience considered a strong advantage. Previous Data Centre tendering experience is but not essential.\n\nRole Summary\n\nYou will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for major M&E packages on complex projects ranging from €50m to €300m in total value. Projects will typically include Mechanical, Electrical, CSA, BMS, ICT, Security, and Fire Alarm systems.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for intermediate-level estimators looking to develop within a high-performing tendering environment delivering technically complex schemes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n* Prepare detailed cost plans and tender submissions for M&E packages\n\n* Carry out take-offs and measurement from drawings and models\n\n* Review and interpret specifications, drawings, and employer requirements\n\n* Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations against technical specifications\n\n* Use model-based software such as Navisworks and CAD platforms for measurement and coordination\n\n* Support value engineering exercises during the tender stage\n\n* Liaise with supply chain partners to obtain competitive and compliant pricing\n\n* Assist in risk analysis and commercial review of tender returns\n\n* Contribute to tender presentations and handover to delivery team.\n\nProject Scope\n\n* Tender values from €50m - €300m overall project value\n\n* Packages comprising Mechanical, Electrical, CSA, BMS, ICT, Security, Fire Alarm and associated infrastructure\n\n* Complex commercial, mission-critical, or technically demanding environments\n\nCandidate Profile\n\n* Experience in M&E estimating (Electrical or Mechanical bias)\n\n* Ability to complete accurate take-offs and quantify works\n\n* Experience reviewing and levelling subcontract quotations\n\n* Competent using Navisworks, CAD, or similar model-based software\n\n* Strong understanding of specifications and technical documentation\n\n* Exposure to Data Centre projects advantageous but not essential\n\n* Surveying capability beneficial but not mandatory\n\n* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail\n\n* Comfortable working to tight tender deadlines\n\nDesirable\n\n* Cross-discipline estimating capability (Mech & Elec)\n\n* CSA exposure\n\n* Knowledge of BMS, ICT, Security, and Fire Alarm systems\n\n* Experience in large-scale mission-critical or infrastructure projects\n\nThis role would suit a driven intermediate estimator looking to step into large-scale, technically complex tenders within a structured and growing London-based team
