M&E Quantity Surveyor\n\nLocation: London\nSalary: £60,000 - £75,000 + Package (DOE)\nJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nWe are working with a leading M&E Contractor who delivers high-value residential, commercial, healthcare and mixed-use developments across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work on projects ranging from £1m to £30m+ MEP value, taking commercial responsibility from pre-construction through to final account.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Managing the commercial aspects of mechanical and electrical packages from procurement through to final account.\n\n * \n\n Preparing and submitting valuations, applications for payment and variation accounts.\n\n * \n\n Reviewing and negotiating subcontractor packages.\n\n * \n\n Cost reporting, forecasting and budget management.\n\n * \n\n Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities.\n\n * \n\n Preparing and agreeing final accounts with clients and subcontractors.\n\n * \n\n Assisting with procurement and supply chain management.\n\n * \n\n Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure commercial success.\n\n * \n\n Supporting contract administration and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.\n\n * \n\n Producing monthly CVRs and commercial reports for senior management.\n\nRequirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the Building Services sector.\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installations.\n\n * \n\n Experience working for an M&E Contractor or Building Services specialist.\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of standard forms of contract including JCT and NEC.\n\n * \n\n Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\n\n * \n\n Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\n\n * \n\n Degree qualified or equivalent is desirable but not essential.\n\nProject Experience\n\nExperience on one or more of the following would be advantageous:\n\n * \n\n Residential developments\n\n * \n\n Commercial office fit-outs\n\n * \n\n Healthcare projects\n\n * \n\n Education schemes\n\n * \n\n Data Centres\n\n * \n\n Mixed-use developments\n\n * \n\n Decarbonisation and renewable energy projects\n\nWhat's on Offer?\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary and benefits package.\n\n * \n\n Clear progression opportunities within a growing business.\n\n * \n\n Exposure to prestigious projects across London and the South East.\n\n * \n\n Supportive and collaborative working environment.\n\n * \n\n Long-term career stability with a well-established M&E contractor.\n\nIf you are an ambitious M&E Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career and work on landmark projects, we'd like to hear from you
