What You’ll Do

  • Assemble industrial automated machinery and subassemblies per engineering specifications
  • Read, interpret, and follow detailed mechanical drawings and shop orders
  • Build components such as:
    • Frame assemblies
    • Drive systems, motors, and shafts
    • Drums, rolls, bearings
    • Pneumatics and hydraulics
    • Sensors, brackets, guarding
  • Perform operational testing, mechanical adjustments, and final tolerance verifications
  • Safely move parts/equipment using forklifts and cranes
  • Assist with shipping/receiving of machinery
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance
  • Suggest process improvements and support a clean, efficient production floor
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • 3–5+ years as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder, or Industrial Automation Technician
  • Strong ability to read mechanical prints and interpret engineering drawings
  • Proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, pi-tapes, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience assembling automated industrial equipment
  • Forklift and crane rigging experience (certifications )
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 100 lbs as needed
  • Strong communication skills and intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Office, and ERP systems

  • Trade school, associate degree, or relevant technical certifications
  • Experience with maintenance or field service
  • Willingness to work significant overtime (highly )
