THE ROLE:

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined, client-focused professional based in the Boston area. In this technical role, you’ll cultivate and manage customer relationships across the New England region (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut).

The position combines remote and on-site work, centering on specifying mechanical products for large-scale projects such as airports, data centers, semiconductor plants, and university facilities. Daily responsibilities may range from presenting to executives in boardrooms to working hands-on alongside Mechanical Engineers. You’ll collaborate closely with internal support teams to ensure client needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.

A major component of this role involves building and maintaining relationships with mechanical engineers and other owner-side stakeholders. The company promotes active client engagement through networking events, happy hours, professional gatherings, sporting events, and more. Occasional overnight travel to key accounts will be required.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in industrial territory sales or mechanical project management
  • Background in manufacturing, construction, general contracting, or MEP engineering
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and/or commercial HVAC
  • Genuine enthusiasm for client engagement and professional networking
  • Must be based in the Boston area and open to regional travel (up to 30% overnight)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
