Position Overview
The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and leading a team of engineers and technicians in the design and implementation of mechanical systems, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and other relevant areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to develop comprehensive project plans.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for design and drafting of mechanical systems.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Evaluate project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals.
  • Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for mechanical systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management within the mechanical engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and plumbing design principles.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience with data centers, medical facilities, municipal, and educational projects is a plus.
