With a collaborative and supportive team environment, they offer a fantastic opportunity for professionals to grow and develop their careers.\n\nRole Summary: \n\nOur client's team is growing, and they're looking for an ambitious MEP Quantity Surveyor with a solid understanding of cost management and a passion for mechanical and electrical engineering projects.\n\nYou'll be working on an exciting range of projects across multiple sectors - including data centres, commercial fit-outs, refurbishments (including heritage sites), and education - with project values reaching over £150m.

You'll have the opportunity to visit sites and see these projects come to life!\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nPrepare detailed quantity take-offs for lighting, containment, pipework, ductwork and other building services with minimal supervision.\nContribute to cost planning and estimating throughout all RIBA stages.\nSource and obtain competitive pricing for plant and materials, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring timely follow-ups.\nSupport cost reporting and financial analysis to help drive informed project decisions.\nReview and assess variations, working collaboratively with senior team members where guidance is required.\nAssist in reviewing contractor valuation submissions and carry out site visits as needed.\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date cost records, capturing all relevant information from meetings, site visits and correspondence.\nEssential Skills & Experience:\n\nBSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent\nStrong MEP QS experience is essential and needs to be demonstrated at interview\nConfident liaising with clients and suppliers\nAwareness of RIBA stages\nProficiency in MS Office with ability to pick up construction and estimating software \n\nWhat We Offer\n\n£50-60k per annum salary\nBUPAhealthcare\nFlexible benefits include Dental, Critical Illness, Retail Vouchers, Medicash, Cycle to Work Scheme, Discounted Gym Membership\nHybrid working - 3 days in office or on-site (Tue, Wed & Thu)\nA supportive team culture with opportunities for career development\nThe chance to work across a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors
