Under the direction of the Senior Network Administrator, is responsible for assisting in performing the day-to-day administration of the Bank's network infrastructure. Supports the execution of system and network-related solutions for the Bank's information technology assets. Monitors, tests and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN. Recommends and schedules repairs. Provides end user support for all LAN based applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in design, implementation, and maintenance of the Bank’s LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, and Exchange.
  • Manage VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, Horizon, Workspace ONE) and ensure reliable backups with Veeam.
  • Support network connectivity and performance across routers, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot VoIP systems (Cisco Call Manager, Webex, Contact Center).
  • Support Microsoft 365, Azure, and other SaaS platforms.
  • Monitor and respond to system alerts using WhatsUp Gold, VeeamONE, and related tools.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, assist with audits, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for escalated Help Desk issues and assist in project deployments.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and support procedures.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Create detailed monthly KPI reports that analyze backup, storage, and compute usage trends.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), VMware, Veeam, and Cisco networking.
  • Experience with Pure Storage and Workspace ONE a plus.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Proven network engineering, operations, and performance analysis skills.
  • Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of computing infrastructures and server management tools.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency with scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users with complex technical issues.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field .
  • 2+ years experience in a network administration role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 .
  • Experience with Cisco switches and routers .
  • Certifications a plus: MCSE, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), CISSP, CCNA, or CCNP.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel to the data centers and branches.
  • Occasional work outside of normal hours.

Pay Range: $70,000-85,000 (This range is for informational purposes only. Offer of employment will be made based on level of experience and skill qualifications within this range.
