NICEIC Qualified Supervisor – Electrical Compliance & Quality\n\nReady to lead electrical compliance across major construction projects?\n\nWant to play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of electrical safety, testing, and certification?\n\nWe’re looking for an experienced NICEIC Qualified Supervisor to join King & Moffatt Building Services and oversee electrical compliance, inspection, testing, and technical quality across our projects and operational teams.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled electrical professional who is passionate about quality workmanship, technical excellence, and maintaining industry-leading compliance standards.\n\nWho we are\n\nOperating for over 45 years, King & Moffatt Building Services provide complete Mechanical and Electrical services across sectors including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, Energy, and High-End Residential.\n\nA Deloitte Best Managed Company Award winner for eight consecutive years, we successfully deliver large-scale projects across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe.\n\nJob Description\n\nWhat’s in it for you?\n\nLead NICEIC compliance and electrical quality standards across major projects\n\nWork with a growing international M&E contractor delivering high-profile developments\n\nPlay a key role in technical governance, inspections, and auditing\n\nOpportunity to mentor and support electricians, testers, and apprentices\n\nExposure to large-scale Data Centre, Industrial, and Commercial projects\n\nLong-term career progression within a leading building services contractor\n\nWhat you’ll be doing\n\nActing as the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor and primary point of contact for NICEIC assessments and audits\n\nReviewing and signing off Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Minor Works Certificates, and testing documentation\n\nCarrying out internal technical audits and inspections across project sites\n\nEnsuring all electrical installations comply with BS7671 and relevant regulations\n\nSupporting electrical teams with technical guidance, compliance advice, and problem-solving\n\nManaging the calibration and compliance of electrical testing equipment\n\nLeading safe isolation and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures across projects\n\nSupporting training, mentoring, and development of electricians, testers, and apprentices\n\nProducing technical reports, audit findings, and compliance updates for management teams\n\nIdentifying recurring quality or compliance issues and supporting corrective actions\n\nWorking closely with Project Managers, Operations Teams, and Compliance Departments to maintain high standards across all projects\n\nQualifications\n\nWhat we’re looking for\n\n * Minimum 10 years’ experience within Electrical Installation or Building Services\n\n * Previous experience in a supervisory, inspection, or testing role\n\n * NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification\n\n * City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification essential\n\n * Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification essential\n\n * Strong knowledge of BS7671, electrical compliance, and testing procedures\n\n * Experience with NICEIC standards, assessments, and certification processes\n\n * ECS Gold Card or equivalent recognised status\n\n * Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills\n\n * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities\n\n * Experience using digital certification software such as NICEIC Cert Software, EasyCert, or Tysoft desirable\n\nAdditional Information\n\nHaving an inclusive and flexible culture helps the business continue to grow as a strong, dynamic and innovative organisation.\n\nAs well as being supported and encouraged to develop your career here at King and Moffatt, we also offer the following:\n\n * Competitive salary\n\n * Professional Development support\n\n * Employee Assistance Program\n\n * Health and Wellness programs\n\n * Bike to Work scheme\n\nAt King and Moffatt, we believe in the power of and to drive innovation, creativity, and success.
