Description:
The Office Generalist plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the firm across multiple business functions. This position provides a blend of office administration, employee support, insurance and compliance coordination, asset and safety tracking, and project administration assistance. It is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a small-team environment, and can balance multiple responsibilities with professionalism and accuracy.
The person in this role will help keep the firm organized, compliant, and responsive to both internal and external needs. Beyond day-to-day operational support, the ideal candidate is someone who actively looks for opportunities to improve processes and introduce efficient, creative solutions that streamline workflows and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support general office operations, including administrative tasks, scheduling, and document management.
· Provide responsive support to employees and assist with internal coordination needs.
· Maintain insurance and compliance documentation, ensuring accurate records and timely submissions.
· Track company assets, safety equipment, and related documentation to support operational readiness.
· Assist project teams with administrative tasks such as tracking deliverables, preparing documentation, and coordinating communication.
· Identify inefficiencies in existing workflows and implement process improvements or automation opportunities.
· Serve as a point of contact for vendors, partners, and external stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
· 2-year associate’s degree or high school diploma with 5+ years office management experience
· 3+ years’ experience in an administrative or office management type role
· Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
· Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a small-team environment.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Comfortable learning new tools, software, and processes.
· Proactive problem-solver who seeks opportunities to improve systems and support team success.
