OSM Construction Manager (Offsite Manufacturing)

We are seeking an experienced OSM Construction Manager to lead and coordinate the offsite manufacturing and modularization program on a large-scale, data center project. This role will oversee the design, fabrication, quality control, logistics, and onsite integration of prefabricated assemblies including racks, skids, and structural components that support accelerated delivery of critical facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the offsite manufacturing program, including design coordination, fabrication oversight, and logistics planning.
  • Oversee subcontractors and fabrication partners producing prefabricated racks, pipe skids, modular rooms, and other assemblies.
  • Ensure offsite production meets project specifications, codes, and QA/QC standards.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation sequencing with the onsite construction team to align with project milestones.
  • Conduct factory acceptance tests (FATs), quality inspections, and progress walkdowns at offsite facilities.
  • Develop and track schedules, budgets, and KPIs for OSM workstreams.
  • Serve as the bridge between design engineering, fabrication shops, logistics providers, and field superintendents.
  • Resolve design or constructability issues impacting offsite manufacturing and delivery.
  • Report progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to project leadership and client representatives.
  • Drive safety, quality, and productivity standards both offsite and onsite.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years focused on prefabrication, modularization, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven background on data center, semiconductor, or large-scale industrial projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, and low-voltage systems.
  • Experience managing fabrication shops, vendors, or modular construction partners.
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings, fabrication shop drawings, and logistics plans.
  • Skilled in coordinating schedules, budgets, and quality standards across multiple locations.
  • Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).

  • Prior experience managing modular/prefab programs for hyperscale data centers.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or industrialized construction practices.
  • PMP or equivalent certification.
  • OSHA 30 or safety training certifications.
