Talent Corps, Inc. is seeking an experienced and skilled Pipe Fitter for an upcoming Data Center project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a commercial pipe fitter, including installation, maintenance, and repair work for large-scale projects. Location: Chesterfield and Henrico, VA

Start: Immediately

As a Welder/Fitter, you will:

• Review drawings and fabricate pipe systems to spec
• Perform layout, prep, fit-up, and welding of pipe and fittings
• Strong knowledge of piping systems and installation methods
• Work alongside the field crew to complete quality installations safely and efficiently

As a Pipefitter, you will:

• Measure, cut, thread, and install piping systems
• Chiller connection
• Running 12" mains OH, piping from 2"-12"
• Interpret blueprints and CAD drawings
• Install piping systems for HVAC, hydronic, steam, chilled water, gas, and process piping
• Perform pipe fitting using welding, brazing, soldering, threading, and mechanical joints
• Install valves, pumps, supports, hangers, and related mechanical components
• Pressure test piping systems and troubleshoot issues
• Direct helpers and assist with rigging and layout work
• Welding certifications (stick, TIG, MIG) a plus

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years (Pipefitter) in commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, layouts, and drawings
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, spool drawings, and isometric diagrams
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work early morning shifts and occasional weekends
• Comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and working in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 50–75 lbs.
• Must have OSHA10
• Must pass back ground and drug screen

• Experience on government, institutional, or large-scale commercial projects
• Rigging experience or training
• Welding and layout skills using a wide range of materials
• OSHA 30 for Leads
• Pipefitting / Welding
